Binghamton University Dining Services is looking forward to meeting you during Summer Orientation. Click on the tabs below to learn about where you can dine during your visit, the orientation dining map, our payment options, seating options while you dine and Kosher dining options.
Looking to learn more about all things dining? Join us on the first day of Orientation at the Campus Services Fair in the Mandela Room and for the presentation on Food, Books, Money and Transportation at the Osterhout Concert Theater in the Anderson Center.
Dining Options
The MarketPlace
The MarketPlace is located in the University Union on the first floor, you may enter near the University Bookstore or near the Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development. Click on The MarketPlace to see the food options available to choose from during your visit.
Special Dietary Needs
Check out our Simple Salads at the NY Deli in the Marketplace during Orientation. These items are prepared using ingredients made without milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, wheat, soy, sesame, and gluten.
Salad with Chicken- $7.49
Field Greens, grape tomato, English Cucumber, tri colored quinoa, and grilled chicken breast. Served with red wine vinegar & olive oil (on the side)

Kosher Dining
Orthodox Union (OU) certified Kosher meals are available during Orientation. Lunch will be served at 2nd Heaven in the MarketPlace.
We are also offering Kosher dinner and breakfast meals to go that you can order online at our online store.
You must place your order one week ahead of the date you are arriving for orientation.
Food Truck
The Yes Chef Food Truck will be located on sidewalk between the University Union and the Admissions Building offering a variety of smash burgers for lunch on the first day of each orientation.
Dunkin’
Dunkin’ is located in The Union Tillman Lobby offering a variety of beverages and food items.
Dining Map
The Dining Map shows the location of the eateries in the MarketPlace, Dunkin’ and the Yes Chef Food Truck.
Payment Options
Binghamton University Dining Services accepts the following forms of payment: BUDS gift cards, VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER, APPLE PAY AND GOOGLE PAY. We do not accept cash- however you may use cash to purchase a BUDS gift card at the machine located by Tully’s in the MarketPlace to purchase food.
Seating Available
We have expanded seating options for the first day of orientation. Enjoy your lunch in the MarketPlace dining area or the outdoor patio, in the Mandela Room or outside near the Food Truck.
